BM—13 / WRITING / EN Long reads

The long arguments, written down once.

9 TEXTS · 66 MINUTES IN TOTAL · NO NEWSLETTER · NO FORM BEFORE READING

There are things I can't say in a block on the home page, because they need a whole calculation to be believable. Those end up here.

These aren't blog posts written to catch searches. They're the arguments I'd make on the phone, written down once so I don't say them ten more times — with the numbers in plain sight, so you can check them before you write to me.

01 — Arguments BM—13.1 / WHY

Why the system looks the way it looks.

Texts that defend a decision with numbers. If you disagree with the number, you have somewhere to argue with it — it's written down.

Two, for now. A text doesn't show up here every week to fill the page — it shows up when I have something to defend with numbers. The next two are half written: why I don't sell positioning below its price, and what happens to a piece you reject at approval.

03 — Journal BM—13.7 / MONTH BY MONTH

What got built last month, with numbers.

It shows up once a month. Only what's delivered and checkable gets in — and what went wrong sits on the same page as what went well, at the same type size.

You've read enough. Let's talk for twenty minutes.

No deck, no proposal emailed afterwards. You tell me where you are and how many hours a month the second job takes from you now, and I tell you whether it makes sense to start — or whether it doesn't, and why.
